Guest Posting for Eileen at A Creative Day

I am incredibly delighted, not to mention honored to have the opportunity to guest post for Eileen and the lovely readers of A Creative Day! Eileen is blessed with an amazing aesthetic for both interiors and fashion.  A Creative Day is one of the few places that I can always depend on for inspiration, great style, and great perspective.  We thought it would be fun to put together an outfit for a favorite holiday outing: picking out a Christmas tree.  This is always one of my very favorite events of the holiday season so I always give it the credit it deserves with fabulous, yet affordable and cozy style. Enjoy!

Vest: thrifted, similar at Target!
Flannel: Old Navy
Ring: F21 (old, but lovelovelove)
Bracelets: J.Crew Classic Pave' Link, vintage Hermes, Kate Spade, Banana Republic (in store)

  1. The color scheme is perfection. I can't even wrap my little brain around it! And the buttons on the boots! If they're buttons? I don't even care what they are, I love them.

    1. These boots are sick! I love them. I had such a hard time finding them last year because everyone else loved them, too. I ended up scouring eBay for a month until my persistence paid off and my size popped up one day. Marked up 150% but oh well.

    1. Hahaha, I kind of did that as a joke to be honest. It was a few days old but I thought "I would definitely be carrying a Starbucks cup if I were picking out a Christmas tree"!

    1. I'm obsessed with this jacket, too. Although it's pretty expensive in my eyes, it looks even more expensive than it actually is. Because the gold is so loud, you can pair it with anything. I substitute it for everything I would wear a blazer with, even dressy stuff because it pairs well.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, Rachel! I got a little out of control with the layering but said to myself "I'm not stopping until I look or feel fat". A jacket, vest, and flannel shirt was all I could take :)
