Baby it's cold outside

It's chilly here in Dallas, 37 degrees at the moment, and I wish I had a snuggly sweater like the one above.  Saw some gorgeous Vince sweaters when I was out over the weekend, but it's tough to justify $250 for one living in such a hot and humid climate, so I have to manage with layers and light knits.  Here are several gorgeous options that I'm coveting, all at different price points..

Workday Style: Kelly Green & Leopard

I was so drawn to this gorgeous silk kelly green blouse in Ann Taylor awhile back, but it's been hanging in my closet ever since.  I just haven't been able to put it with anything that looked really great, but this morning, I was able to place it with something that I felt comfortable and classic in.  I find myself wanting to put leopard with just about everything these days, so hopefully this trend doesn't die anytime soon.

I scored a couple things on Cyber Monday, although not one of them had anything to do with technology.  I actually didn't order online either, but I did use the coupon that was in my inbox this morning.  That counts, right?  What did you find Black Friday - Cyber Monday?

Moving On...

God has a funny way of kicking us right in the ass when we least expect it and I've been no exception to the rule.  Although we can't erase the past, we can look forward to the future with excitement and an open mind.  I am starting with a clean slate where I can and my blog is one of those places.  I've changed a few things (title, layout, colors!) and hope to pick up where I left off: with the love and passion for writing, design, fashion, art, food, and everything else I find beautiful in the world.  Hopefully you will excuse my absence and join me as I move to the next chapter.
