Hey chickens! I have been a stone cold loser for the past couple months, but I wanted to give you some substantiated evidence as to why. You may then decide whether you love or hate me at that point and I will take the beating!
I've only mentioned a couple times on the blog that I love renovating homes. I purchased an O.G. 1964 ranch back in May of last year and decided to pull the trigger on a full on renovation about two months ago. Between my weight gain from eating cheeto's every day since, and the pain of living in my bedroom for two months, my labor of love is finally complete. I put it on the market and four hours later, I had a full price offer. I may start calling myself a real estate investor. Doesn't that sound fancy? My outfit posts are also to include a token blue tooth earpiece that I wear from the time I get up until I go to sleep, because I'm that important. NOT. C'mon y'all! You don't think my J.Crew addiction has faded away do you?
Anyways, I really hope you enjoy these before and after pics and let me know what you think. I'm already on to the next one, but will not, under any circumstances be living in it. Kiss kiss!!
xoxo,
sarah

ReplyDeleteThanks, Cassie! It's hard to dress cute and get down and dirty at the same time!

Hello my love! I wish it was, but hopefully it will be in the future. My full time job is actually providing home loans to help people accomplish this with fixer uppers.its definitely one of my passions so I hope that one day one will lead to a future in the other!
DeleteWow, love the "after" views. Congratulations on job well done (and the offer received).
ReplyDeleteI've lived in a house under renovation (like, 'break walls' renovation), so I feel your pain. But did you have to shower in the yard using a garden hose? Mind you, it was in Greece and the fence was really high.
I love your blog. I discovered it just before you went MIA and I'm really glad you're back!
Tanya, you probably think I suck, but I'm coming back with some good stuff! I would shower in front of my neighbors if I got to live in Greece so you are a lucky girl. Thanks for visiting and I hope you come back!!
DeleteWOW, amazing reno! You really transformed the house! Congrats on selling so quickly too.

ReplyDeletePortland seems like the coolest place to live! Good luck with your Reno!!
DeleteWow gorgeous!! I absolutely love the kitchen! Would you be willing to share the names of the paint colors you used for the walls and cupboards in there? that's exactly the look I want to go for. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks!! Of course! Walls are anew grey (sw) and cupboards are softer tan (sw).

ReplyDeleteThanks honey!!!
DeleteSarah OMG you did an awesome job. It's beautiful. You may have to come visit me when you come to NC and give me some pointers! :)
ReplyDeleteKareigh Hauser
You got it girl! Thanks for visiting!!!
DeleteFantastic job. I just about pulled all my hair out painting kitchen cabinets, so I feel you. Pat yourself on the back...and reward yourself with wine and shoes. I think that's the typical "I-just-flipped-a-house-like-a-BOSSLADY" gift to one's self.
ReplyDeleteThat's right! I'm trying to legitimize a new Celine but I just bought another house instead. Next time!! Thanks for stopping by!!
Deletelooks amazing
ReplyDeleteThanks, Clement!!!
